This is one of my first students who started all by zoom after the Coronavirus started. They had never done piano before. Because of their school situation we were lucky enough to do multiple lessons per week. They did a good job practicing, but got bored of this song. We probably could have gotten it faster before moving on, but oh well. When a student is really bored of a song it can become a gigantic struggle to keep working on it – so it’s usually best to just do a new song.
